Returns and Refunds Policy
Your satisfaction is our success, so every item we sell comes with our 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely happy with your purchase for any reason, you have 30 days to return it for a credit.
Return Requirements
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us first. We will be happy to accept a return within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is unused and returned to us in a re-saleable condition, in original condition and packaging.
Credit / Refund Details
Return of the item will be at your cost except in event of an error made by Tasman RV. Once the item has been received back we will offer a refund in the form of a store credit valid for 2 years. If you would like the payment returned back to your credit card or bank account a 25% admin / restocking fee will apply. If the item was initially sent to you with Free Delivery, then the actual delivery costs will be deducted from your store credit or refund.

Delivery and Payment Terms
Risk of loss
All items purchased from Tasman RV are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This basically means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Delivery Damage
Your order is insured against damage and loss-in-transit providing you follow a few simple guidelines.
1. By signing for the parcel you are saying it has been received in good order.
2. Do not sign for your parcel until you have thoroughly inspected it and it’s in good condition.
3. If you have any concerns, if there is visible damage to the outer packaging or something is damaged, you must note this on the paperwork.
If there is any damage you need to notify us within 24 hours to qualify for an insurance claim. Do not discard any of the box, shipping label, packing material, or broken items. The delivery company will need to pick up the damaged goods. We are unable to send a replacement until this stage has been reached.
Processing & Dispatch
Your order will usually be dispatched the same day payment is received excluding weekends.
If we are “Out of Stock” we will inform you as soon as we can.
Delivery
We are based in New Zealand and will ship throughout New Zealand and Australia (soon, keep an eye out).

Tracking
If your parcel has not arrived within a reasonable time (as above), please contact us and we will track it for you.
Shipping to PO Boxes
Unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO Boxes.
Payment
Payment via Credit/Debit Card
When you place your order using the Credit Card payment method, you are re-directed from our website to a secure payment environment where you enter your details. Your card details are confirmed and the funds are reserved for the transaction. Once your order is ready for dispatch, we “complete” the transaction which instructs your bank to transfer the funds to us. We do not store or have access to your credit card details.
Payment via Bank Transfer
Shortly after you have placed your order, we will email you an invoice showing our bank details (for bank transfer) or postal details (for a cheque). Once the bank payment has cleared we’ll dispatch your order.

Property and Risk
Ownership of all goods sold is retained by Tasman RV, its parent company and associates until full payment is received. This provision is designed to protect us in the event of bankruptcy, receivership or liquidation of the buyer, a seizure of goods by a creditor of the buyer, or default in payment.
Until full payment is made the buyer must ensure the goods are identifiable as the property of Tasman RV and maintained in good condition. The buyer must return the goods immediately if called upon to do so by us.
The buyer shall reimburse us or any agents for any costs (including legal costs), expenses, loss or damage (including such to any third parties) in respect of the exercise.
All money owing by the buyer shall become immediately due and payable.
The value of such goods seized shall be assessed as the lesser of current market value or the invoice value at the time of sale and may be subject to a restocking fee as above. Any excess after satisfying all of the buyer’s payment obligations will be paid to the buyer.
Site policies, modification, and severability
We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Terms at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition. Our terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
Use of Site

Warranty
All products come with a 1-year Return to Base warranty (unless otherwise stated). Your invoice is required as proof of purchase.
The buyer shall ensure that the item is suitable for the application.
In the event of a warranty issue, it is very important that you please contact us first. You need to give us the opportunity to resolve the problem. We’ll work closely with our supplier to provide a professional and speedy resolution. We will not reimburse you if you bypass us and then send us a bill after repair work has been done.
We’ll always try to use a local service agent to fix the fault however sometimes this is not always possible. The buyer may be required to send the item back to us or our service agent in a fully packaged condition. Buyer is responsible for returning the item at their cost. If it is determined to be a warranty issue, Tasman RV will cover the return freight. Removal / re-installation is not covered under the warranty.
Once the goods have been inspected, the judgment of our supplier or service agent is considered correct and final. If the defect is not a warranty issue or due to improper installation (or misuse), the warranty will be declined and the buyer may be liable to pay for any expenses incurred during the claim process.
Should the product be determined to be faulty, it will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Should a replacement product be unavailable, we will credit the original purchase price of the product.
Tasman RV’s liability of any defect in (or failure of) the goods supplied, or for any loss, injury, or damage, is limited to the replacement of the goods or repair of the defects. Tasman RV is not liable for consequential, indirect or special damages or loss of profits under any circumstances.
The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, inappropriate or improper operation, lack of maintenance, incorrect installation, modification or adjustment of the item.
Tasman RV’s liability under this contract and the warranty in this clause is confined to the buyer named in this contract. The warranty is not assignable without our prior written consent. At the termination of the warranty period all liability on Tasman RV ceases.
